I have never taken a look at the Sony but if I would of reached some more maybe I would have because the price differences. I bought the LG HDTV because I wanted the best of my TV. One it's in 3D, two its HD to go with the HD programming I get and three I work for DISH and just ordered the Logitech Revue with Google TV. The Google TV allows me to browse the web from my TV. With all that I have a amazing picture in everything I do and the audio as never popped or faded out when I turn it up high or down low. The LG #D HDTV is incredible and I couldn't ask for anything better.
